This morning, we focused on workplace satisfaction and "what makes a company great to work for."
Joining us today was Relational Leadership Contributor, author and speaker, Cheryl Mason. Mason is also the CEO, of Catalyst Leadership Management.
First, there are so many people looking for jobs, or looking to switch jobs that there are some questions to be aware of when it comes to working for any company:
What are the employees saying about the company? Does the company have a good reputation among it’s employees?
What are customers saying about the company? Is the company reliable, do they stand by their products, what is customer service like?
Are the products and services the company provides good, great and wonderful or is the product and service below standard?
If leaders of the companies want to attract employees and customers or clients to their business, they need to demonstrate good solid leadership. “Good leaders are visible and engaging” says Mason. She adds “leadership used to be mainly predicated on smarts but now it’s about heart and connections. It’s about relationships, and being helpful to the people you want to affect.”
Being a catalyst leader involves facing challenges, overcoming obstacles, and genuinely caring for and supporting your employees. “In my book, Dare to Relate, I share my journey and unveil my unconventional, yet highly effective approach to leadership” says Mason..
