Exciting News: Children of Fallen Heroes 501(c)(3) Nonprofit welcomes The Honorable Cheri Mason as our newest Ambassador, leading Purpose, Impact, Value, and Leadership.

The Honorable Cheri Mason brings a wealth of experience as the fourth Senate-confirmed Chairman, the first woman, and a military spouse to serve as the CEO of the Board of Veterans' Appeals. She successfully managed a $228M budget, overseeing a team of 1200 personnel, including Veterans Law Judges, attorneys, and professionals. Cheri's leadership ensured the resolution of appeals for veterans and their families across various administrations. We're thrilled to have her on board!

Through Cheri's involvement, we anticipate improved strategic planning, increased awareness, and enhanced advocacy for the children and families we serve. Her passion for purpose-driven leadership will inspire and guide our efforts, ultimately strengthening our ability to provide vital support to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Cheri Mason's impact on Children of Fallen Heroes will be both profound and lasting.

The Honorable Cheri Mason is passionately involved in the development of the groundbreaking "Children of Fallen Heroes Retreat and Education Center," spanning 82 acres in Moore County, NC, a stone's throw from Fort Liberty (Bragg). This visionary project aims to be the nation's very first STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) Retreat and Education Center, dedicated to the children of fallen military heroes, first responders, foster kids, caregivers, and the wider community. With Cheri's unwavering commitment to the cause, this center is set to become a beacon of hope, learning, and empowerment for those who have given so much to our society. Together, we're building a brighter future.
